Dr. Tanveer Ahmad Khan was awarded Ph.D by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in the year 2001. During his Ph.D., he has worked on the topic “Environmental Deterioration in Kashmir Valley with Special Reference to Lidder Valley”in the Faculty of Natural Sciences. He is an accomplished Environmental Specialist having more than 22 years of experience in environmental monitoring, planning, and management of major developmental Projects across India and overseas. He has worked extensively on Shell, ADB,Smart City Mission India funded developmental projects, specializing in EIA, EMP, Environmental Clearances, Disaster Management and sustainable urban development and environment awareness after serving Department of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing, Govt of J& K and Environmental Studies Centre, Qatar University for more than a decade as researcher and Specialist.
