Er. Muzafar completed Diploma in Civil Engineering from Kashmir Government Polytechnic in the year 1989 and has over 36 years of experience in different wings of Power Development and Public Works Departments of Jammu and Kashmir Government. His main experience has been on hydroelectric projects construction and operation and maintenance.

He has to his credit being associated with survey and investigation of a number of hydroelectric schemes. He has also worked in the Testing Laboratory of JK SPDC where he has gained expertise in testing of materials for both operational as well as under construction power projects.

He has also worked in the territorial Divisions of R&B (PW) Department from where he superannuated in February 2022. Post his superannuation, Er. Muzafar Ahmad Shah is associated with JNY Consulting Engineers LLP and functions as Relationship Manager.
